3PS Liquor License
A 3PS Liquor License is a quota beverage license designated for the sale of alcohol for off-premises consumption in the state of Florida. Minors are allowed on the premises of businesses that are issued this type of license due to on-premises consumption being prohibited. A 3PS license allows a business to sell packaged beer, wine, and liquor.
COP Liquor Licenses
Probably some of the most common types of liquor licenses, the different COP liquor licenses are designated for businesses selling alcohol (beer, wine, and liquor) by the drink and for consumption on-premises. The Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation has also deemed that this license allows businesses to sell alcohol in sealed containers. The different types of COP liquor licenses include 4COP, 5COP, 6COP, 7COP, and 8COP (which are determined by county population).
Florida Liquor License Facts
When obtaining a Florida liquor license, be aware that the process can take up to 4 months. After applying, a notice will be served in the area that you intend to open your business to inform the local population that you anticipate serving alcohol. They will have 30 days to submit a complaint about your intention of serving alcohol. On the off chance that there are no noteworthy complaints to your application by the general population, then the FDBPR will start an examination of the people listed on your application, the area of your business, and the business in general.
Regardless of whether you intend to obtain your Florida liquor license from the FDBPR or from the open market, we at Liquor License Agents can help you through the entire process.
